Discount campaigns that fit your house

With go~mus + promotions you set up discount codes and campaigns for ticket sales - from a single press complimentary to seasonal partnerships with hotels, tourism boards or municipal partners. Three tools in one module: discount codes, promotions and customer actions.

Codes redeem everywhere you sell tickets: in the online shop, at the desk, and in the back office for phone and special orders. Configuration and reporting live centrally in the admin area.

Discount codes

Codes that reduce the ticket price - issued individually or generated in batches:

  • Percentage discounts, e.g. 10 % or 20 % off the ticket price
  • Absolute discounts, e.g. EUR 5.00 off
  • Up to 100 % discount for complimentary entry, e.g. invitations or press accreditations
  • Optional cap, e.g. 20 % off with a maximum of EUR 10.00

You decide per code whether it is single-use, capped to a fixed count, or unlimited. Use your own code name ("SUMMER2026") or generate automatically.

Promotions

The promotion logic mirrors common marketing campaigns directly:

  • BOGO (1+1) - the second ticket is free
  • 2+1 free - three tickets in the basket, two are paid
  • 50 % off the second ticket
  • Free companion - ideal for accessibility and inclusion
  • Three for the price of two and other combinations along the same lines

The system automatically picks the variant most favourable to your visitors. An order with five tickets under a 1+1 promotion receives the discount on two tickets, not on one.

Customer actions

Codes can do more than just grant a discount. With customer actions you unlock entitlements:

  • Assign B2B partner - redeeming the code links the customer to an institution. Hotels, tourism partners or municipal partners receive their own booking path.
  • Change price target audience - the code unlocks reduced rates otherwise only granted with proof at the desk. Practical for partnerships with universities or member associations.

Redemption on every channel

  • Online shop: visitors enter the code in the basket, the discount appears instantly, the reduced price is charged.
  • Box office: staff enter the code during the sale, directly inside go~mus + kasse.
  • Back office: apply codes manually in the admin area for phone orders or special cases.

Targeted use

You steer each code precisely:

  • Validity window - when the code can be redeemed
  • Museums and exhibitions - restrict to specific houses or individual exhibitions
  • Sales channels - online only, desk only, or everywhere
  • Minimum order value - discount only above a defined amount
  • Exclusivity - prevent combining multiple codes in one order

Management and reporting

Setup and maintenance live centrally in the go~mus back office:

  • Create individual codes or generate codes in batches in one step
  • Assign your own code names or generate them automatically
  • Deactivate codes at any time, reactivate when needed
  • Import from CSV or Excel for large code stocks, export to Excel for partners

Reporting gives you the overview of your campaigns: redemptions per code and per campaign name, discounts granted over time, each redemption linked to its order and timestamp. You see which campaigns work and steer communication based on data.
