Inventory management
Manage inventory categories, inventory items, per-offer inventory requirements, issue and return, all digitally in go~mus.
Overview
Inventory management lets you digitally manage any number of inventory categories and inventory items. You can also assign inventory requirements to offers.
Inventory categories
You can create any number of inventory categories. Inventory requirements on offers are then specified as a count per category. You can also store the email address of the person responsible for that offer category, so that they are automatically notified for all bookings of offers requiring inventory in that category.
Inventory items
Within inventory categories, you can create as many inventory items as you need. Alongside the assigned museum, you can store inventory numbers and descriptions. The assignment of inventory IDs and the creation of an Excel list for printouts or downloads happen automatically in the background.
Inventory requirements
For offers managed in go~mus, you can define inventory requirements per inventory category. go~mus ensures that an offer can only be booked when enough inventory items are available in the corresponding category.
Inventory issue and return
Booking offers with inventory requirements automatically creates entries in the inventory requests. These let inventory managers keep track of items to be issued, items already issued and items due for return.
