Customers
Manage customers, categories, institutions and GDPR right-of-access cases centrally in go~mus.
Customer categories
Customer categories let you segment your customer base. Since segmentation looks different everywhere, customer categories in go~mus can be defined freely.
Offers in go~mus can be priced via fee schedules, among other ways. A fee schedule lets you set prices per customer category and offer category. Customer categories can therefore form the basis of your pricing structure.
Customers
Orders are triggered by customers. In go~mus, customers are individuals. Only for orders through the POS channel are customer details usually not captured or matched with existing customers.
Even when an order is placed for an institution (company, association, organisation, etc.), a person (customer) is always responsible in go~mus. The customer's membership in the institution can be managed and viewed, and the institution view shows all associated customers and all orders from those customers.
Customers belong to a customer category and have addresses.
Institutions
Although orders in go~mus are always triggered by a person (customer), institutions of any kind can still be modelled.
Customers can have addresses at institutions and place orders using those addresses. The order then belongs to the institution and is discounted accordingly if a discount has been assigned to the institution.
Right of access cases
To respond to customer requests under Art. 15 GDPR (right of access by the data subject) quickly and reliably, go~mus offers a dedicated "right of access cases" feature.
Requests from customers can be entered and managed here, and go~mus provides reports on the collected data so that you can answer the request.
