Users
User management with roles, individual rights, two-factor authentication and museum-specific access restrictions in go~mus.
User
Access to go~mus requires a password-protected login for previously registered users.
Users are managed in the backend, and the assignment of rights, roles and museums determines who can access which content and features.
Two-factor authentication can be enabled.
Roles
Rights for accessing content and features are defined in roles. Roles are then assigned to users. Users can hold several roles and accumulate the rights they contain.
Rights
In addition to assigning rights via roles, rights can also be granted to users individually.
In teams with tiered rights concepts, this allows simple configuration without having to create a separate role for the team lead, for example.
Restrictions
In addition to defining rights via roles and individual rights, user access can be restricted to specific museums.
In institutions with multiple museums and museum services, this means that staff of individual museums only access the content of their own museum, while staff of the museum service or other cross-museum entity can access the content of all or many museums.
