POS sales
POS as a native sales channel: specialised for cultural venues, with wrapper tickets, advance sales, pay-on-site and a shared order with shop and backoffice.
POS as a native sales channel
The POS is a full sales channel in go~mus, not an afterthought. The topics that set a cultural box office apart from a general retail POS are built in: wrapper tickets, family and multi-day passes, advance sales with live contingents, events with seat-category selectors, pay-on-site for school classes, day plan with visitor forecast for the floor lead. Counter sales and online shop share the same order, the same inventory and the same reporting. The full depth sits in the go~mus + kasse add-on.
One order, all actions at the counter
Every sale, whether a ticket, a tour, a voucher or an annual pass, lands in one order. Per line item you can change quantity, adjust price, grant a discount, rebook, cancel. At order level you get action codes, customer assignment, comments and full cancellation. Cancelled items stay visible, struck through, so nothing disappears unnoticed.
Payment runs via the POS integration or an Adyen card terminal directly at the workstation. Tickets can be printed or delivered as PDF by email, depending on your venue setup.
Events, tours and annual passes at the counter
Concerts, talks, readings, film screenings and workshops with individual seats are sold at the counter with seat-category selectors (regular, reduced, member …); remaining seats are live. Pre-booked tours surface via filter and full-text search; you record tour feedback after delivery and rebook to other dates if needed. Annual passes are sold and renewed for holders with first name, last name and date of birth; the pass is checked against the current validity period at the door via its barcode.
One scanner for everything
The scanner screen is a single, auto-focused input field. USB scanner, Bluetooth scanner or typed input, all work. The system automatically recognises what sits behind the barcode: a ticket, an annual pass, a voucher, a tour booking. Foreign barcodes from connected third-party systems, e.g. consortium cards, validate in the same field. Status colours (green valid, yellow with notice, red invalid) make the verdict readable from two metres.
Complement: self-checkout and kiosk
Staff-operated POS sales run alongside visitor-operated self-checkout. Reports and order data are unified; you manage the mix by capacity. For the technical setup of the self-service terminal, you use the go~mus + kiosk add-on. For special cases or questions, the staffed till stays the point of contact.
