Sell value and service vouchers in the shop and at the POS, redeem them across channels. Complement: action codes via go~mus + promotions.
Create value vouchers
Value vouchers across all sales channels are created in go~mus. Per voucher you define a value and a name, that is it.
Service vouchers for tickets and annual passes
Alongside the value voucher, go~mus offers the service voucher. Instead of a sum, you gift a specific product, for example a family ticket, a special-exhibition admission or an annual pass. The buyer picks the product in the shop or at the POS; the recipient redeems the code later and receives the booked ticket or the personalised pass directly, without anyone having to convert a value into a product first.
Useful for Christmas, birthdays or as a thank-you for patron circles: recipients get exactly the experience you intended, you as the venue keep the certainty of a specific product sale.
Online sales
Once a voucher is created, it can be sold in the online shop. The online shop sells vouchers as PDF.
Customers can choose a quantity per voucher value, add it to the cart and pay together with other tickets, events, group offers and annual passes through the regular online shop checkout with the configured payment methods.
Online redemption
Value vouchers can be redeemed in the cart of the online shop.
Partial redemption of the voucher value is also supported online. The voucher amount is deducted from the cart total.
POS sales
Value vouchers can also be sold at the till via go~mus + kasse. Per transaction, the voucher value can be loaded onto a card or printed as a code on the receipt or a ticket blank. Which variant fits depends on the desired look of the gift and is configurable.
POS redemption
Vouchers can be redeemed in the online shop, in the go~mus backend and at the POS, regardless of whether they were originally sold at the POS or online.
The redemption is shown on the receipt, and the remaining voucher value is updated automatically in the system.
Partial redemption is supported at the POS as well. If the voucher still has a balance, it can be redeemed later at any other point of sale (POS or online shop).
Backend redemption
For orders placed by phone or in the backend, your visitors can also redeem vouchers that were previously bought at the POS or in the online shop. Simply enter the voucher code when finalising the order.
Voucher account management
Vouchers, the bookings linked to them and the remaining balance can be viewed in the connected POS system. All credits and debits are synchronised in real time.
Action codes as a complement
Vouchers are sellable value instruments, action codes are marketing levers. Both complement each other. With the go~mus + promotions add-on, you set up discount codes like „SUMMER2026", plan promotions with minimum order value, maximum discount and redemption cap, and target them at individual products, tickets or sales channels. Redeemable at POS, in the backoffice and in the online shop.
