Sell annual passes, personalise in self-service, in the app or at the backoffice PC, plus print and shipping workflow.

Manage annual passes

You manage any number of annual passes in go~mus and sell them through the connected sales channels. Name, validity period, price and sales channels are configurable per pass.

Personalisation across three paths

An annual pass is tied to a specific person, with name, date of birth and optionally a photo. go~mus offers three paths to capture this personalisation, depending on where your customer stands:

  • In the online shop, in self-service. After purchase, the customer receives a token link, uploads a photo, enters personalisation data and finalises on their own. No staff effort on your side; the pass enters production only when personalisation is complete.
  • In our annual-pass app at the counter. A specialised tablet workflow for staff at the dedicated personalisation desk: photo via the tablet camera, data captured, pass released for print. A fast walk-in flow for direct hand-out.
  • At the backoffice PC. The visitor service personalises by phone or in response to email requests directly in the backend, uploads photos that customers send in and releases the pass for print. Useful for repeat customers handling their renewal over the phone.

Online sales

Annual passes that are released for online sales can be bought there by any customer.

After the purchase, customers receive a link to personalise their passes online. Once personalisation is complete, the passes can be produced and shipped, or held for on-site pickup.

On-site sales

Annual passes can also be sold at the on-site POS. The pure sale at the POS is straightforward.

Personalising at the POS has several drawbacks: it takes time and requires suitable printers at every POS as well as a stock of card blanks.

Most of our clients therefore move personalisation to a dedicated workstation.

Customers buy an annual pass voucher at the POS, which is then exchanged for the actual annual pass at a dedicated counter during personalisation.

The passes can be produced and handed out immediately.

Phone sales

The visitor service also accepts annual-pass sales by phone. Personalisation then happens at the backoffice PC; the finished pass is shipped or held for on-site pickup.

Production, shipping, pickup

Regardless of the channel through which annual passes were sold, go~mus supports the processes for production, shipping or pickup.

For all annual passes that have been fully personalised, go~mus automatically generates print data based on the agreed layout.

Passes that have been printed are automatically marked as ready to ship. After shipping or holding for pickup in the museum, the passes can be marked as "shipped".
