Memberships

Freely configurable membership types, privileges and discounts, member cards with barcode or QR code, renewal workflows and CRM synchronisation.

Configure membership types freely

You create any number of membership categories, each with its own name, description and configuration. Family membership with a plus-one rule at admission, supporting member with special rights at the vernissage, corresponding membership for research partners with its own privilege set. Membership types are translatable, so you maintain name and description per language.

Privileges and discounts

A membership type works automatically as a discount provider for linked products and tickets. Examples: percentage discount on special-exhibition tickets for active members, free admission to the permanent exhibition with member card, member pre-sale for concerts or workshops before public release. Which privilege applies to which membership type is defined in master-data configuration.

Member card with barcode or QR code

For every membership, go~mus generates a unique alphanumeric string that you print on the member card as a barcode or QR code. All access-control systems connected via go~mus + entry scan these codes and grant members entry. If a card is lost, you revoke the old one and issue a new card; the membership itself stays intact.

Renewal and transitions

Before a membership expires, your team reminds members or the reminder goes out automatically. Renewal happens via a token link in self-service or directly in the backoffice. The renewal counter shows how often a membership has been renewed, a useful loyalty indicator for your communication. If someone moves from a standard to a supporting membership, the card stays the same, only the privilege set changes.

Annual pass as member card

Membership and annual pass can be interlinked: one barcode works at admission as both an annual pass and a member card. Houses that issue personalised annual passes for their patron circles combine both modules. A membership without an annual pass (purely organisational, e.g. corresponding members) remains possible in parallel.

Synchronisation with your CRM

Membership master data and movements can be synchronised in parts with connected CRM systems, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365. Which fields flow in which direction is configured per tenant. This helps houses that bundle fundraising and member care in their CRM.
