Key User Meeting
Conditions for registering and attending the annual go~mus Key User Meeting. Free exchange event for active customers and invited partners.

1. Scope
(1) These terms govern registration for and participation in the annual go~mus Key User Meeting ("the meeting") organised by Giant Monkey GmbH (the "Provider") and announced via www.gomus.de.
(2) The meeting is a voluntary exchange event for active go~mus customers and selected partners. There is no legal entitlement to participation.
2. Eligibility and registration
(1) Registration is open to active go~mus customers and selected partners invited by the Provider. Active customers are organisations with a contract for the use of go~mus that is in force at the time of the meeting.
(2) Non-customers interested in attending are kindly asked to send a request to sales@giantmonkey.de; the Provider decides on these requests on a case-by-case basis.
(3) Registration is made via the registration form on the relevant edition page. The form asks for name, business email address and the customer institution. Submitting the form constitutes the customer's statement that the institution named is an active go~mus customer.
3. Participation and cancellation
(1) Participation in the meeting is free of charge for eligible attendees.
(2) Participation is voluntary. Registrants may cancel free of charge at any time by email to support@giantmonkey.de.
(3) The Provider may cancel or reschedule the meeting at short notice in case of insufficient registrations, technical or organisational issues, or events outside its control. Registrants will be informed; no compensation for travel or other costs is owed.
4. Venue and liability
(1) The meeting takes place at the announced venue (currently the Humboldt Forum, Berlin). The venue is operated by a third party; the Provider is not responsible for traffic safety, building access, accommodation or facilities at the venue.
(2) The Provider does not assume liability for travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred by registrants in connection with the meeting.
(3) Contributions and presentations by external speakers reflect the views of those speakers and not of the Provider. The Provider does not assume liability for the content of third-party contributions.
(4) The Provider's general liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, except where statutory provisions mandate broader liability (injury to life, body or health, Product Liability Act).
5. Photo and video
(1) During the meeting, photographs and short video clips may be taken for internal documentation and for use in non-commercial reporting by the Provider (e.g. the gomus.de website, the Provider's social-media channels).
(2) Registrants who do not wish to appear in such material may notify the Provider in advance or at the venue; the Provider will accommodate the request within reason.
6. Data protection and final provisions
(1) Personal data collected as part of the registration is processed for the purpose of organising the meeting. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data is erased six months after the meeting unless retention is required by law. Full information: privacy policy.
(2) The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of performance and exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, provided the registrant is a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law.
(3) Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder remains in force.
